Feature story on Sterling Sariska

Sterling Sariska is located on the fringes of the Sariska National Park. This makes it a convenient resort to stay at and plan your wildlife safaris. A visit to Sterling Sariska helps you rediscover nature. The park's dry deciduous forest cover is home to tigers, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas, jackals, sambar, chital, nilgai, chausingha, wild boars, langurs and birds of many kinds. These forests also have places of great historical importance like the Kankwari Fort. Sariska should be on your bucket list if you’re looking for adventure that’s off the beaten track.

Sterling Sariska has 40 well-appointed rooms including fully-equipped tents amidst the soothing silence of the jungle. Take a long leisurely swim, follow our curated trails that skirt the resort, chat up with locals you will meet on the way, or watch the deer come to a watering hole near the tents. Classic Room: Comfortable furnishing, contemporary décor, compact yet functional. Unwind in this contemporary 225 sq.ft room that comes with a pool or garden view. The classic rooms come with an option of queen / twin beds and can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child.

Premier Room: Well-appointed and spacious rooms with superior facilities.Premier Rooms come with a choice of queen / twin beds and a single sofa cum bed. They are from 300 to 350 sq.ft in size and come with a pool view. Premier rooms accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children / 3 adults.

Privilege Suite: Air-conditioned suites and tent-styled cabins that are fully equipped with a range of modern amenities including flat screen TV with satellite cable connection, mini refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, mineral water bottle, hair dryer, iron & ironing board (on request), full length mirror, bedside lamp, safety lockers, wireless internet access, and laundry service.

Highlights from the dining experience

Machan, the multi-cuisine restaurant at Sterling Sariska serves many delectable delicacies. The restaurant provides buffet and à la carte options to choose from. Do remember to try the specialties of the Alwar region - Dal Bati Churma - a spicy Dal and deep-fried Baati served with a semi-sweet Churma, and a fiery Rajasthani meat curry called Laal Maas. In-room dining is not available at Sterling Sariska. Please reach out in case of any special requirements.

The Sariska Forest expanse is the grand home of the Royal Bengal Tiger. This reserve is dedicated to 'Project Tiger' and has helped to increase their dwindling numbers.
