Not taken your annual leave yet? You should. It might cost billions!

Wyndham chief executive Stephen Holmes, in a telephone interview to Reuters, just after reporting quarterly earnings, , saidthat despite the mortgage crisis and rising price of gas, Americans really valued their vacation time as they were  either going to spend money on a hotel room somewhere, or on renting a condominium or use their timeshare, which they have probably already paid for. A report by Harris Interactive, a polling and research group, which for seven years has examined trends in unused vacation days for Expedia.com, an Internet travel booking company, found that an estimated 438 million vacation days were failed to be taken advantage of by Americans during 2007.
