Many timeshares 'worthless'

 

A blunt title but according to the Timeshare Consumers Association, owners of timeshares are now queuing up to sell and many deals could be considered "worthless”.

 
   

Timeshare worker behind TV thefts

 

Worries and tensions are not the only things being lost during vacations. Police say a man who worked in the spa at Powhatan Plantation in Virginia, USA was the ring leader in last week's theft of 18 televisions worth up to $30,000 from the timeshare property. The full story here.

All we have to say is that ‘screening’ procedures of employees arriving & leaving work at resorts has to be implemented strictly.

 
   

Don’t call me, I’ll call you

 

According to a reader who works as a telemarketer for a timeshare company, it's not enough to say say, "Stop calling me," to get yourself off a company's calling list, you must unequivocally request the removal.

You Must Specifically Say "Put Me On Your Do Not Call List" Wow. We wonder if the folks at DOT know about this news report.
