IS TIMESHARE THE RIGHT HOLIDAY PLAN FOR YOU?
A five-minute Q&A session to check orientation and interests

When you make a timeshare decision at today's prices, you get many happy returns to your dream vacation every year, for at least 25 years. You also have the flexibility to plan your vacation around lean work periods and getaway opportunities. At the rate hotel tariffs are fluctuating, the mere thought of spiraling room rents can make you unpack your bags.

Depending upon the resort and location, timeshare gives you multi-star comforts, without room rents – something you need to keep in mind when you are listing down plus points and features. Another aspect to look at is the range of activity options – I can’t think of many hotels that can come close to what timeshare can deliver at your favorite resort.

Since timeshare works best at locations that are relatively undiscovered and unexplored, you can also look forward to peace and quiet. The vacation ownership / timeshare industry has so far concentrated on resort properties in popular tourist areas such as seaside regions and hill stations.  In the coming years, it will benefit both resort owners and their members when newer, undiscovered locations are added to their maps. Even exchange companies will offer plans and options that will take choice and convenience to new heights and locations.

But let’s get back to the theme of this article:

IS TIMESHARE THE RIGHT HOLIDAY PLAN FOR YOU?

  1. Do you find planning your holiday to the last detail, a tedious task?
(Especially if it involves elaborate planning, checking prices, and follow-up effort on hotel bookings, where room tariffs on that day might decide where you stay.)
  2. Do you like the idea of committing to an annual vacation for the next 25 years?
(Don’t you think it’s nice to know that your annual vacation is “in the slot” when it comes to resort locations, exchange possibilities and holidays with a difference? Makes sense, doesn’t it?)
  3. Do you welcome the idea of holidaying with larger groups?
(It’s nice holidaying with family and friends – really nice. But try doing that at a regular hotel - the prices will make you stay back home.)
  4. Does vacation time mean fun time and activities for the entire family?
(It also makes sense when holidaying with the entire family translates into fun and activity that’s designed around different age groups and profiles. Now that’s something you can look forward to.)
  5. Are you thoroughly bored of going to the same old holiday location, every year?
(After a point every holiday location becomes a plain-vanilla setting – you soon look for something different, new and maybe even a change of location.)
  6. Do you also look forward to tourist spots, historic and religious sites near your holiday location?
(Isn’t it nice to add a few highlights to your holiday plan? A little beyond lazing around at the pool, or pool table?)
  7. Would you expect your accommodation to be cozy and comfortable with modern facilities?
(Let’s be honest, we all like a bit of pampering – especially on a holiday that comes up once in twelve months.)
  8. Does your idea of a holiday include a good restaurant, helpful room service and organized housekeeping?
(Now what if I added reliable maintenance and property management to that list? You know what I’m talking about…)
  9. Wouldn’t you also want service that goes with a smile, and comfort that makes you feel at home?
(There’s something about service with a smile – it works wonders for me, every time. No matter how far I am from home.)
  10. Now tell me, would you like all of this at a cost that stays comfortable and within reach?
(Just imagine, dream holidays with a buffer for inflation - year after year, for years?)
