Mahindra Holidays commenced its operations in 1996, offering family lifestyle holidays in India and abroad, though a vacation ownership product. The company is a Business Superbrand '08 and its brand Club Mahindra, a consumer validated Superbrand '09.
Over the period of its growth and success MHRIL has managed all aspects of operations through one entity by creating a fully integrated business model- from identifying land, building and developing resorts, member acquisition and servicing, resort operations and marketing to travel related services.
This integration has enhanced management competence in many areas which have helped the company grow.

Today, Club Mahindra has emerged as an intelligent option to costly and badly-planned holidays and ill-managed time-shares. It is the fastest growing timeshare brand outside the U.S. With 24 resorts in India and abroad, the brand has a rapidly growing member base. Today this numbers over 93,000.
The CMH network comprises 16 branch offices, 43 retail sales outlets called HolidayWorlds, and 90 direct sales agents and 31 franchisee retail sales outlets. It accounts for 65% of the total active members across the vacation ownership industry in India.
