The vacation ownership industry in India has been constantly striving to ensure that the consumer enjoys a good holiday. But who ensures that the vacation ownership industry functions in a healthy albeit competitive environment, one that is conducive to productive growth and fair practices?

In 1998, a leading group of resort developers and RCI India Pvt Ltd., arrived at the answer to this question. What was needed was an association that would function as a neutral body, with a purpose and a single-minded belief - one for all, all for one. An association that would work keeping in mind the long-term interests of the industry. What followed was the setting up of the All India Resort Development Association (AIRDA).

AIRDA’s membership comprises vacation ownership (timeshare) industry developers, exchange companies and other stakeholders committed to the development and growth of the vacation ownership (timeshare) industry ensuring that their activities are ethical, fair and conducted with transparency. Each member adopts and abides by our code of ethics (Note: link to be given to code of ethics) that has been instituted to ensure strong, sustainable and profitable businesses. And to protect the vital interest of one most important link in the vacation ownership (timeshare) chain – the consumer!
